Armand Bettonviel

Armand started his top sport activities in 1993 in the build-up to the Olympic Games of Atlanta (1996) in addition to his everyday work in the field of clinical medicine research and an active sporting career (bobsled). In 1998 he co-founded "Sport Instituut Galgenwaard” in Utrecht; a professional multi-disciplinary (sports medicine / physiotherapy / exercise physiology / sportpsychology) institute for recreational sportsmen and women and top sportsmen and women. Apart from the years of practical experience with top sportsmen and women, theoretical knowledge was obtained by studying nutrition and toxicology at the Open University. As a result of these studies and the top sport field of action, he has become very interested in the combination of exercise physiology and nutrition.
